Abstract

As a way to illustrate a way to learn from ancient practices to advance radical reuse today as an alternative to extraction, this narrative offers the author’s encounters and transformations of the contemporary art and utilitarian objects, civic monuments, building fragments and systems where aesthetics is the driving force behind their very existence and persistence.
